Festival Kick Off Event
The 2015 Art on the Fly is coming soon! A day and evening urban dance and art event full of “surprise” and roving performances, flash mobs, free dance classes, an artisan craft fair, beer garden, kids activities' and food specialties from famed food trucks featured as part of Piranha Blonde Interactive's Mobile Food Truck Rodeo, Don't miss this outdoor, free, all-ages celebration of art and dance in the middle of downtown Seattle! Kick Off Seattle International Dance Festival's ten day event
That's right, this is just the beginning. The big kick off event that says, "hey, Seattle, it is time to dance." What does it kick off? Sixteen days of contemporary international dance company/artist performances from Venezuela, Portugal, Mexico, Canada, and throughout the United States (lots of local artists too). Don't miss the Inter|National Artist Series, Spotlight Series and Sanity Cafe, each with their own twist on the contemporary dance scene. See the world and its cultures though the finest in contemporary dance. We bring the world of dance to Seattle's dorrstep.
